The balance-sheet, showing a credit balance, was placed before the members and approved of. The following officers were elected ; —President, Mr Thomns Ayson ; vice-president, Mr H. Marshall; Captain Mr W. R. F. Fraser ; Lieutenant, Mr J. Milne ; secretary and treasurer, Mr D, Raymond. The Rev. J. B. Smellie and Mr Fraser each promised a trophy to be competed for during the season. The town Board have resolved to strike a shilling in the pound, and are about to invite tenders for the first section of the much-talked-of sewer. The weather is extremely boisterous and looks in every way likely to furnish the flood promised by the Dunedin prophet.
