AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS.
A. A. Mac Gibbon on behalf of the N.M. and A. Co. reports. Sale at Gore on Tuesday, 4th inst; —There: were about 3000 sheep yarded, consisting of good wethers, full-mouthed ewes, and; a number of, cull lambs. Prices were about one shilling per head lower than at previous sale, but nearly everything was sold. A pen of prime' wethers sold at 14s 4d; fat and half fat do, 13s to 13s 2d ; medium to 12s ; inferior, 8s to: 10s; full-mouth ewes in lamb, 8s to 9s 6d; ,cull do 2s to 4s ; best lambs to 10s 3d; culls to 3s 6d. ; Our entry totalled 1552. A few fat heifers were yarded and sold at top prices. At the Winton Sale on Thursday, 6th inst., the entry of sheep, was larger than expected, about 2000 being yarded. Best wethers brought 16s sd; good do, 13s 6d “o ils 6d • crossbred ewes to’11s; lambs, 9s 3d to 10s Gd for best, and 6s to 8s for good. A few fat cattle were, sold at L 6 to LG 10s, and dairy heifers to L 5 ; store steers to L 4. V.:
Wool and Skin Sale.—All coining forward meet with ready sale—dry skins up to 5s 4d; pelts, green, to 4s 3d. Rough fat, 15s per cwt; hides, 2d per lb. Privately we have sold during the week about 200 head cattle, 500. cross-bred wethers and lambs —all at satisfactory prices. Land sale—Wc have sold 274 acres, Boggy Bnrn Estate, at a satisfactory price.
