George McDonald, Liddell street, reports as follows —Business under this head is rapidly increasing, and prices continue very firm. For prime winter does I quote up to 16|d ; mixed sexes (bucks and does) up to 15v,d; early winters and good autumns, 9d to 12d ; racks, 8d; other sorts in proportion. :: Sheepskins.—Prices remain firm. Sound pelted, Is 2d, and crossbreds (full-wo oiled), 54d; merino do, 4|d to sd; fallen pelted sorts from 4d to 4f d; pelts from 6d to 2s 3d, abcording to length of wool and condition of pelts. , • ; ; ■ Tallow, &c.—Best rendered, 18s to 18s 3d; medium, 15s to 17s 6d ; best caul fat, 14s 9d ; medium, 12s fid to 13s fid; inferior, 9s Gd to 12s. Hides.; —Brisk demand for good sorts at late, rates.
