The eatables and drinkables were provided gratuitously and abundantly by Mesdames Jcfeoate, Clay, Warren, Eobinson, and Wilson, and were dispensed at an interval during the programing. This, was' carried out under .the chairmanship of Mr Jcfeoate, who washihphatically the'fight' mail "in the fight place, and l -kept everythingd going 1 wellf In addition to two other duties he also tributed one 1 of'Mrs Caudle’s curtaihlettures. Each part "Of.‘the 1 programme was marked by overtures played by the Mesh’s Clay (cornet and baritone.)., ..Songs ,were, .given by Miss : Jbfcbate, Miss, S’. ;’W.‘ Jefeoate, Mr W.' Clay,' Mr C.TCeff, and Mr ‘Vickery ; 'recitations by Mr Warren and Miss L. Jefcoote ; a reading by Mr McKinnon; , and dialogues between ; Miss; E. ■ Jefepate and Master J. Jefcoate, and 'the Masters Vickery. Miss L. Jefeoate played the accompaniments. 1 At 1 tlie*close 1 of; a very pleasant evening the Chairman thanked the ■audience for their attendance.., - , ,
