Totter to buy 100 to 300 acres of run 323,. Kingston district, was refused. —J. Alley surrendered his coal lease on section 197, Wairio.—lt was decided to ask the Governjf ment to reserve sections 2 and 3, block 12, Limehills township, for county council gravel pits.—The offer of the Pine Company of £lO for the sawmilling timber on sections 19 and. 20, block 23, Invercargill'Hd., was accepted. —Mr Mouatt’s offer of a rental of 2d per acre per annum for 6000 acres of the Woodlands run was accepted—land to be resumed when the area is gazetted as open, for sale. —lie valuation for fencing on past-, oral runs it was decided that in cases of dispute, the incoming and outgoing tenants, should refer the matter to arbitration, and. that new tenants be required to pay the assessed value before getting possession.—lt was resolved to recommend the Government to reduce the price Colac township sections from £3O to £2O per acre, and of suburban, areas from £5 to £2 per acre.—Section 1, block 2, Limehills, was transferred from Mary Smith to Elizabeth Hammond, and' section 5, of 407 a from J. Mair to G. Eraser.
