The Invercargill Young Men’s Christian Association has been resuscitated, and a building for. its use will shortly be erected. The office-bearers are :—Mr George Hardie, president; the ministers of the town and Mr John Neill, vice-presidents; Mr fas. Brown, treasurer ; and Mr J. S. Baxter, secretary. A football match, was recently played at Otautau between a local team and one from lliverton. .The latter made 16 points to Otautau’s two. In the later stages the losers had to play one short through one of their men being hurt. Bishop Nevill, of Dunedin, paid a visit to Otautau the other night, and held a service there, in which he was assisted by the BevMr Christian.
