CO-OPERATION AT GISBORNE.
Tlie Poverty Bay Farmers Co Operative Association lias just completed its first year of business. The directors state that after having materially reduced the cost of goods to consumers during the year, the net pi’ofit is equal to 35 per cent, upon the average capital employed, and the business of the association has steadily increased. The directors propose a dividend of 10 per cent, and the •creation of ,a -reserve fund.
