Football Notes.

(By Jersey) A match will be played on the "Western Beserve, ■this (Saturday) afternoon, between representatives of the Dunedin and I nvcrcargill football clubs. The visiting team is a strong one, and the local club will also hare a. full team, with the exception of Bussell and Neave, so that a good game maybe looked for. The ground latelyaequired by the Southland Bugby Union is beginning to look well. The fencing has been finished, and the grass is coming on splendidly; the ground should be ready for playing on in July. Owing to pressure on our space, a number of other items har e had to be omitted.
