DISCOLOURED EVENING SHOES.
Satin shoos can be redyed- at homo with very little trouble, provided a good make of spirit dyq is available. Before applying the dye, the shoes should be thoroughly freed from all traces of grease, etc., by rubbing well with a cloth dipped in petrol or other grease solvent. As petrol is highly inflammable this should not, of course, bo done in a room in which there is a Ore or naked light. When quite clean the dye should be applied by means of a soft brush.
