MAORILAND THEATRE.

ESTELLE BRODY AS “KITTY.” Delightful riverside scenes of the Thames, and, its surroundings form, the keynote of C.A.F. ’s latest release, “Kitty,” which will be screened on Wednesday. Estelle (Brody, Jh|e delightful little actress, plays the role of “Kitty,” and gives a splendid performance, while opposite her is John Stuart, as the 'aristocratic Alex St. George. Supporting these two stars are Marie Ault, in a wOnderful cameo of acting, and Dorothy Gumming as the haughty Mrs St. George, is the hallmark of perfection. To-morrow finishes the 'season, and on no account should patrons miss this splendid picture, which ils the tfest we have seen for. a long time.

“IT CAN BE DONE.” Glenn Tryon. popular Universal comedian, will be seen and heard alt the local Theatre on Friday, when his n!ewost talking picture, “It Can be Done,” will be presented. It is a rollicking farce cOmedy of a backward young mian who reads a suceess-in-ten-les'sons book and proceeds to tweak th'e world by the tail. 'Adorable Sue Carol is the heroine and cause of all this inspired ambition. It is her first appearance opposite Tryon. The two make a pleasing comedy pair. They register well in the dialogue scenes, too, it is promised. The picture whs directed by Fred Newmeyer, maker of many Harold Lloyd ‘successes Mann Page, land Edward Montague wTo'te-the story especially for Tryon, One of the highlights of the tale is a banquet sales talk by Tryon at a. publishers ’ convention, said to be screamingly funny.
