BUCKLEY DRAINAGE BOARD.

pUBLIC NOTICE i s hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and respective amendments that it is the intention of the Buckley Drainage Boatd at a meeting to be held on the 14th day of November, 1929, to make and levy the following rates. A general rate on a graduated scale on the rateable capital value of all properties in the Board’s District (except on lands classified as “D”) of 1 l-16th of a penny in the pound on lands classified as “A”; of 9-16th of a penny in the pound on lands classified. as “B”; and §th of a penny in the pound on lands classified as “C. ” A special rate of 1 l-16th of a penny in the pound on lands:classified as “A”; a special rate of 9-16th of a penny in the pound on lands classified as ‘‘B”; and a special rate of f'th of a penny in the pound on lands classified as “C.” A special rate of lid in the pound on lands classified as - “A” in the Buekley sub-division; one penny in the pound on lands classified as “B,” and a halfpenny in the pound oh lands classified as “C. ” A special rate of lid in the pound on lands classified as “A” in the Koputaroa sub-clivision; §th. o t f a penny in the pound on lands classified as “B”; and jth of a penny in the pound on lands classified as “C.” All the above rates are for a period commencing on the first clay of April, 1929, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1930, and payable in one instalment on the 2nd day of December, 1929.
