FROCK, SCARF AND HAT

Coat frocks for the cooler days are much in favour for street wear. These are in soft navy cloth or even the popular silk or woollen taffetas. With navy, there is nearly always a touch of white or beige at neck and wrists. When purchasing a pretty floral silk for a frock, be sure you get a little bit extra for the handkerchief scarf —that is, for the girl who can wear it. Every girl cannot wear it either at her neck or waist; it requires just a particular typo to carry it off correctly and smartly. It forms a point at back of the right shoulder and is just knotted in front, as a rule, on the left shoulder. The hats are very pleasing this season, affording suejj shelter for the eyes from the strong sunlight. Doubtless, as the autumn approaches we shall get back to the brimless confections again.
