MAORILAND THEATRE.

“TWO RED ROSES.” “Two Red Roses,” the chief attraction at the Maoriland Theatre on Saturday is not only, based song success, but introduces into the story a young song composer who met with suddqn success. The song is cajlled “Two Red Roses,” and creates a vogue for wearing floral emblems, thereby bringing profit to florists. The chief character is a sales girl in a florist’s who also attends to the floral decorations for dinner parties. This brings her in contact with a wealthy man and his guests, one of whom falls in love with her much fo the dismay of the daughter of the house. The lives of these four young people are thereby much intertwined, providing material for one of the most entertaining romantic dramas of a light character seen on our screens for a long time. This First National picture was produced' by Robert Land for Defu, with Liane Ilaid at the head of a strong cast which includes La Jana and Harry Halm.

MONDAY. “SAILOR IZZY. MURPHY” is UPROARIOUS FARCE. “Sailors Izzy Murphy” with George Jessel is the Warner-Master Picture at the local theatre on Monday. Jcssol plays the title role of Izzy Murphy, a resourceful young perfumery salesman. In an attempt to sell his “Dream of Love” perfume to M. Jules, a wealthy merchant, Izzy falls in love with the daughter, and is at once kicked out. Urged by his partner to prefer charges, Izzy is trying to serve papers on M. Jules, when he hears that the rich

man has left with Marie for parts unknown. He rushes to the pier, whore he finds the yacht in clpwgc of maniacs, under the lendcrefiip of one “Orchid Joe.”

Izzy introduces himself as a fellow nut and soon Avin’s Joe’s confidence. After a series of rollicking and unbelievably ludicrous escapades, Sailor Izzy comes through, and sits pretty on top of the world, with the pretty Mile. Marie at his side.
