BOWLING.
On Monday (Labour Day) the Shannon Bowling Club will hold a handicap progressive pairs tournament, play.commencing at 9 a.in. sharp. Intending players must place their entry before 8 p.m. tomorrow, otherwise they will be unable to take part in the touurney. Entries can be left with Messrs J. T. Bovis, W. H. Clayton, C. P. Grey or A. G. Mason. In the event of there not beftig enough bowls available, rink games will be played.
