SHANNON STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at their Shannon stock sale yesterday they offered a good average yarding to a good attendance of the public. The bulk of the stock was sold at late rates and met with quite fair competition. They quote as follows: Sheep.—Fat ewes, 30s 6d; ewes with lambs at foot, good, £2 0s 9d; fat hoggets, 25s 6d, 265. Cattle. —Jersey cross yearling heifers, £6 Is, £6 2s; yearling steers, £5 Is to £5 8s; heavy fat cows, £8 lOs, £9 to £9 10s; light fat cows, £5 15s, £6 to'£6 10s; store cows, £3 ss, £3 15s yearling Jersey bulls £5, £6, £6 ss; springing cow, £l4.
