Chester Conklin and Flora Finch and others of the fine cast provide plenty of comedy in this First National picture. Thelma’Todd, Eve Southern and Barbara Bedford are three beautiful girls who provide- the love element as , well as much of the mystery. Montagu Love and William V. Mong are two of the. strange and menacing figures while Larry Kent is the handsome young hero of the piece. There is no questioning .the. popularity of mystery pictures, and “The Haunted House” is one of the finest.
