RANGITIKEI CLERICAL ASSOCIATION.

The Enngitikei Clerical Association held its iirst meeting in Foxion on Tuesdav in AH Saints' Vicarage-, when Row W. .1-1. Walton presided. There Acre also present Kevs. Canon Woodward (Palmers! on North), I. Wiltshire, J.Vj. Abbott (Palmerston North), J Young (Shannon), J. C. Davies (Levin), G. K. Moir (Otaki), R. B. White (Bulls), J. W. Burgin, G. H. Fen wick and 11. B. Goetz (Ashhurst) An apology for absence was received from Rev. Canon Petrie who was to have read a paper at the meeting. In his unavoidable absence, however, Rev. J. C. Abbott read a paper on pagan religions which proved very interesting. The visitors were entertained to hinchoon and afterwards- c. short service was conducted in All Saints' Church. On the resumption of the meeting hi the afternoon the chairman took the opportunity of welcoming to the Association three new members, Revs. Canon G. Y. Woodward (Palmerston. North), H. B. Goetz (Ashhurst), and G. Young (Shannon). It was decided to hold the next meeting at Feilding, Rev. Canon Pet He's Vicarage on November 19.
