GOLF.

On Saturday afternoon the return match with the Otaki Club was played on the Shannon links. The weather was perfect for golf and the course m first class order. The match resulted in a "win for Shannon by 10 games to 3. After the match Dr. Milne thanked, the local club for their hospitality, and called for three cheers for Shannon, which were heartily given, as were three cheers for the ladies. Results of play: — D'Ath defeated Goodwin. Holmes lost to Leng-Ward. B. Brown lost to McKenzie. S. Simcox lost to C. Stern. P. Simcox lost to A. Saxon. Dr. Milne lost to Morgan. Young defeated H. C. Jones. M. Simcox lost to Campbell. Morse lost to H. Stern. Atmore lost to King, R. Brown defeated Blackwood. Hardie lost to Stevenson.

Wilson lost to Tregurtha. Members are reminded of the medal match next Saturday, and a full attendance is requested.
