The Supreme Court on Saturday granted probate of the will of William Faloon, late of Levin, farmer, to the Public Trustee, Mr F. P. Walkley being appointed advisory trustee. Apparently the garbled phraseology of the Public Works Department camps contains quite a number of terms descriptive of a man's condition when he has been consorting too long with Bacchus. So at least it would appear from the evidence of Publie Works Department labourers giving evidence in the Napier Supreme Court. One witness, questioned as to his condition on a certain day, remarked that lie was "completely cuckoo" and a little later,, in the hearing he was described by a' companion as "well lit" on this particular occasion.
