ACROSS CHANNEL BY MOTO CYCLE.
DOVER TO CALAIS AND BACK RUGBY, August 12 Mr H. S. Perry accomplished a n feat to-day by crossing the Engl Channel from Dover to Calais and bs on a motor eycle. The time fal was 7 hours 25 minutes. This inclu< 40 minutes spent in Calais harbour lunch. Mr Perry was accompanied a motor launch, and stopped twice the outward journey for refreshrhei but came back in a non-stop run.
