The players will travel by motor bus to Masterton, leaving on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and returning on Saturday night. Only one change has been made in the team selected as Probables for yesterday's trial game.. Summers, of Kia Toa, now replaces his team-mate Boldt, as a hooker. •'•
All selected players are requested to assemble at the Showgrounds at 3 o'clock this afternoon.

Wing forward: J. Donald. Forwards: Reid, Olliver, Harvey, 8. Willoughby, M. Willoughby, McGregor, Reside.
Reserves—-Forwards: Fairbrother, Walker, Le Quesne; backs, Hart-and Jury. Irvine and Randall Booth were not available.
MANAWHENUA RUGBY UNION MEETS
GENERAL BUSINESS. The Manawhenua Rugby Union met last evening, Mr J'. A. Colquhoun presiding. Also present were. Messrs F. Robinson, K. W. Eglinton, .A. M. Ongley, J. R. Hardie, W. Hannan, H,' Hands, H. R. Crawford, A. E. Richards and G. Mitchell. The Horowhen.ua Council, advised that Mr Thos. Watson, of Miranui,; had been appointed as its representative on the Manawhcnua junior selection committee.
The Wairarapa Rugby Union wrote asking whether Manawhenua would accept a visit from a Wairarapa junior representative team on a date to be arranged.—lt was decided that it would be impossible to arrange the game, owing to the full representative pro gramme.
The Southland Rugby Union advised that the Southland touring team would arrive in Pal merston North at i 2.50 p.m. on September 2 and would leave for Napier on September 5 after playing Manawhenua. Mr N. Reid was accepted as the referee for the junior representative fixture against Wanganui at Wanganui on August 24. Mr Thos. Watson Was appointed manager of the Manawhenua team.
The following managers were appointed for representative teams: — Manawhenua juniors to play Wellington juniors at Levin, Mr E. Clevely.
Manawhenua seniors to play Wanganui at Levin, Mr F. Robinson. Manawhenua seniors to play Wellington at Wellington, Mr. T. McHerron. i

with reference to the representative fixture, Manawhenua v. on September 7. It was pointed Out that the action of the Manawhenua Union in setting down the game at Levin would place an additional expenditure of £l6 on Wanganui. In consideration of this fact, the Wanganui Union askod that an endeavour be made to play the game in Palmerston North.
' It was decided to inform Wanganui that by> travelling through Foxton and Sanson, the length of the journey would be increased only by 15 miles. In these circumstances, it was felt that the venue of the match could not be changed and the secretary was instructed to inform Wanganui to this effect.
: An appeal was received from the Foxton Club against the decision of the Horowhenua Cotineil to repeal its order to replay the Foxton-Wanderers match played at Levin oh Sa-tufday, June 8. On the motion of Mr Oolquhoun, it was decided that tie appeal of the Foxton Club be not upheld.
Permission wa9 granted any Horowhenua representatives selected for the Prince of Wales Cup team, to-take part in;,the fixture, provided thM the game does not clash. with .any Tepreeentative engagements.
