BUCKLEY DRAINAGE BOARD.

A meeting of the above Board Avas ' held at Shannon yesterday. Present; Mr R. W. Taylor (chairman), and Trus tees R. J.. Law, J. W. Egginton, anc H. Easton. An apology fro absenot Avas received from Trustee Speirs. DEPUTATION WAITS ON BOARD.

A deputation of six ratepayers avh introduced by Trustee LaAV, who askethe Board to improve the drainage b the main Buckley outlet. Also to con sider the question of installing an elec trie pump to keep the Avater doAvn i flood times. After the deputation rt tired the Board considered the propose but resolved ,to take no action in tb meantime.
