BUCKLEY DRAINAGE BOARD.

A meeting of the above Board was held at Shannon yesterday. Present Mr R. W. Taylor (chairman), and Trus tees R. J. Law, J. W. Egginton, ant H. Easton. An apology fro absenct was received from Trustee Speirs. DEPUTATION WAITS. ON BOARD. A deputation of six ratepayers wa introduced by Trustee Law, who aske< the Board to improve the drainage b the main Buckley outlet. Also to eon sider the question of installing an elec trie pump to keep the water down i: flood times. After the deputation ; rt tired the Board considered the propose but resolved to take no action in tl* meantime.
