DERAILMENT OP TRUCK. The derailment of a truck at Koputaroa on Saturday on the mixed train due in Shannon at 2.38 p.m. caused the afternoon trains to Wellington to run late The mishap occurred shortly after leaving Ivoputaroa when passing through the cutting north of _the .latter station. Owing to the accident occurring in the cutting a complete blockage took place and it was after seven o’clock before the line was go.t clear. The Auckland express which passes through Shannon at 4.30 p.m was held up at Levin and eventually passed through Shannon at 7.55 p.m. The south-bound New Plymouth express leaving’ Shannon at 7.55 p.m. and the usual 4.30 train to Wellington at 8.10 p.m. There trains having been held up at Shannon.
