MONDAY—' ' THE GIRL FROM CHICAGO." Conrad Nagel and Myrna Loy. ar co-stars in "The-Girl from Chicago,' the greater Warner-Master mclodram which comes to the Maoriland Theatr .on Monday. The subject is the spec tacular career of a Southern girl, wh comes to the great city to free he 'brother from the clutch of En undei world gang, who have caused his sftn tence to death. Thrilling and absorli ing, but with the admixture of huino and human loudness without which an; play is untrue, "The Girl from Chic ago" has met tremendous success. I is not a picture of evil for evil's sake but of love battling against the force ,of evil, to win all that makes lif worth while. "The Girl from Chicago' i,won not only her brother'.s freedom but the love of the man she believe* to be a leader among, the; crooks.
