PRETTY HANDS

One of the best remedies known for clapped hands is glycerine, a substance which properly used will keep hands soft, white and supple. A word of warning is, however, necessary. Never put pure glycerine on your hands. Before you use glycerine, therefore, mix it with at least an equal bulk of rose-water, or orangc-flower-water, whichever you like the better.
