WEDDING BELLS.

TREMAINE—BLYTH. The wedding was solemnised at St Andrew's Church, .Palmerston North by the Rev. Mr Stewart, of Bulls, on Ap.il 10th, of Greta, only daughter oi Mr and Mrs Matthew Blyth, of Makerua, and grand-daughter of Mr anc Mrs John McKay, "Ary brae," Fairlie, South Island, to William, second son of Mr and Mrs M. T. Tremain, of Wanganui. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in a beige lace and georgette frock, finished with beautiful diamante buckles. Her t\ille veil was worn with, a coronet of silver leaves and roses and she carried a beautiful bouquet of autumn tinted flowers. Miss Pegg Skoot, of Wellington, cousin of the bride. attended as bridesmaid. She wore an amethyst crepe de chine frock beautifully beaded in gold and a crinoline hat' trimmed with gold roses, and a Victorian posy of everlasting flowers finishing a delightful'toilette. Little •Peggy and Joan Albright attended as flower girls and looked very 'sweet-i« their dainty wee frocks of pink and blue tulle. They wore tulle head bands and earned' baskets of flowers. Mr A. Peterson, of Levin, was best man. ...

After the ceremony a reception was held in the Ross Co".' tea room. Mrs Blyth received her guests wearing a beautiful black frock embroidered in gold with a hat to tone. She carried a beautiful bouquet of red-carnations. Assisting Mrs Blyth was Mrs Anderson, of "Otopi," Dannevirke, the bride's godmother. She wore a charming gown of rose wool crepe-de-chine, a black hat and carried a bouquet of rose coloured flowers. Mrs Tremain, mother of the bridegroom, wore a floral silk dress with hat to tone and a fox fur.

The happy couple left for an extended tour of the South Island. The bride's travelling gown was silver grey crepc-de-chine piped with .blue, a small "grey hat trimmed with blue, grey silk hose and blue kid shoes and wore a beautiful fur coat the gift of her father.
