MAORILAND THEATRE.
"BACK TO GOD'S COUNTRY." |
Wednesday's picture will be a clever romance in which Eenee Adoree is the starred player. It is entitled "Back To God'a Country."
"THE WALTZ DREAM."
Eegal and stately though a princess may be,. with all her royal wardrobe, and a background of romantic castles and great gardens, she is after all—a woman. And it W a woman's special duty to be as beautiful as she can. But poor Princess Alix, reared by a stern father, in the chilly environs of Flausenberg, grew up a clowd, ignorant of the pleasures of young women, severe and strait-laced in dress and deportment. No wonder the gallant Viennese Archduke yawned as he walked in the garden with her, and discussed merely the weather when they sat down. A Princess must, after all, be something of a woman to attract a man —in Vienna. So poor Mady Christians, who oortrays the role of the Princess m "The Waltz Dream," an U.F.A. special, which comes to the local Theatre on Friday, has rather a hard time of it.
