The child at school quarrels and fights with his fellows, but when his quarrel is over it is forgotten and former adversaries become the best of playmates. Then comes a turning in the road of life when we begin to complain and indulge in self-pity. At this point we cease to be good forgetters and begin to grow old. What else, indeed, are worry and' hatred but the remembrance of those things which are disagreeable. If we could but forget them as a child does, we could remain young. Supple muscles belong to youth, and so do supple minds. Undoubtedly, the woman, whose mind and soul possess the resiliency of youth is. young: and what, is more, she .is the delight of all who come into contact with her.
