RECORD EXPORTS IN JANUARY
Agratifying feature of the overseas trade" figures for January supplied by the Customs Department is that the exports were a record for one month. The total value of the exports last month was £8,449,9-31, which represents an increase of £843,546 compared witn January, 1938. The January exports for the last five years have been as follow:
