SHANNON v. WESLEY.

The Levin Wesley Club’s team visited Shannon on Saturday afternoon and met a team from the local Club. Although the visitors were soundly defeated, they were far from disgraced as they put up a very creditable showing against the more experienced players; they also proving themselves to be real good sports. The weather was threatening during the play, but rain held off, and the players spent a very enjoyable afternoon. During the afternoon refreshments were supplied by the ladies.
