The third round of the Championship Singles was played on Friday evening, when Morgan defeated Hook, and Roach defeated Whibley. In the final played - between Morgan and Roach on Saturday evening, the former proved the winner by a fair margin. The Shankland Buttons was played for on Friday evening, when Knowles and Blackwood defeated Quarrie and Grey by 27 to 14. The champion pairs are due to <tomjnence this evening. On Wednesday afternoon a friendly game will be played against two rinks from Levin on the Shannon green.
