PARIS MODELS.

ACTION AGAINST FASHION PIRATES. (Sun Special.) LONDON, Jan. 29. Nine loading Pari? dressmakers are combining to stamp out “pirating” of new fashion designs. The “Daily News” Paris correspondent says that a special staff of detectives will attend future shows, from which fashion artists and writers will be excluded until buyers have seen the models. ' Buyeis’ credentials will be examined before they are allowed to enter, and foreign buyers’ purchases will be sealed and sent direct to their destination. The combine is also taking action against cheap French houses, whose sole business is the reproduction for sale of “pirated” stylos.
