GAMES AT OTAKI. The Triangular contest was advanced another stage on Wednesday when rinks fumi Foxton, Shannon and Levin journeyed to Otaki to meet three local rinks. The day was fine and the green in good order. Otaki won two out of the three games, but in the third went down badly 1 .

Following are the scores, Otaki being mentioned first in each case: —■ Amyes, Young, Windley, Penlington (s) v. Monks, .Sherwood, Bain, Clements, S (Levin), 23—17. Otaki opened with a two, then Levin evened on the next head, but on the third Otaki gained two more, but the score was again even on the following head, 4 —4. Levin then scored four, B—4,8 —4, but ou the next five heads failed to score, while Otaki secured eight, 12—S. Levin scored a single, 12 —9, but on the next throe heads Otaki scored eight, 20—9, thus giving them a substantial lead. Levin scored six on the next two heads, 20—15, then Otaki scored two singles, making the score 22—15 on the lStli head. Singles only were afterwards scored, the game eventually ending in favour of Otaki by six points. Play throughout was good. O’Rourke, Palmer, 'Noble, Yfilmot (s) v. Grey, Hyde, Clayton; Knowles, s (Shannon)’. 21—15. The visitors scored two on the first head, then Otaki a similar number, then Shannon scored a two and a single, and led 5 —2.
