In the inter-elub croquet series play- | ed yesterday at Palmerston North, the Shaun oji representatives, Mesdamos Mason, Pranks, Suoiling, Roach, Picard and Harding met the Terrace End team on the Takaro. green. The results were as follows, Shannon players being mentioned first: —
Mrs Mason beat Mrs Davidson, 26 — 21; Mrs Franks beat Mrs Brown, 26 —l7; Mesdames '’Smiling and Roach lost to Mesdames Wood and Torstonson, 19—26; Mesdamos Harding and Picard beat Mesdames G.- 11. Jamieson and Sorenson, 26—9. Points: Shannon, 97; Terrace End, 73.
