What was described as one of the causes of unemployment was mentioned by Mr. F. Z. D. Ferriman (Ashburton) at the session of the Christckurch Diocesan Synod. In speaking on a motion regarding tho extension of accommodation at the Cathodral Grammar School, Mr. Ferrimaoi said ' that boys were now too well educated to work. (Laughter). Many who matriculated were not able to find work, and Synod, before .voting, on the motion, should remember that. Such education was one of the causes of unemployment.
