Avidely challenged has been made by Dr. Adie, a physician at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases. Giving evidence at an inquest, he said it was modern jargon that- defective teeth caused people to absorb poison into their systems. He declared, also, that most'working class people, of 60 .years of; age had bad teeth. "Sometimes," he said, "it is mora dangerous to have teeth .removed than to allow them to remain.", -<. r <- < ID 1 OTIC"• SAYS SPECIALIST. "Dr Adie's statement is idiotic and not worth.discussing,'J says a West End dental; specialist. "It is impossible'to exaggerate the danger of bad teeth." ■The - 'Secretary of the Dental Association told the "Daily News" that bad teeth are a danger which is often exaggerated by doctors arid dentists, but it would bo unfortunate if ihe idea spread that it was not dangerous to retain decayed teeth."
