PUBLIC NOTICES, BUCKLEY DRAINAGE BOARD. SPECIAL ORDER BE LOAN OF £ls§o. is hereby, given that the following special order was passed at a special meeting of the Buckley Drainage Board on the 24th September, 1928, viz:— In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by The Land Drainage Act, 1908, and ita amendments, The Local Bodies' Loan* Act. 1926, The Local Government Loan* Board Act, 1927, and its amendments, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling the Buckley Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows: — 1. That the Board proceed to raise a loan of One thousand five hundred aad fifty pounds (£1550) for the purpose of repaying the overdraft of the Drainage Board incurred under the authority of section 62 of the Local Legislation Act, 1927. ■ 2. That such loan be ealled "Tfce Overdraft Kepayment Loan, 1928. 3. That the currency of the said loa* shall a period not exceeding twenty years. 4. That the interest on the said loan shall not exceed six pounds (£6) per centum per* fcannum. jan<|' be payable half yearly on the first day of August and February in each year. 5. That the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be one (1) debenture of One Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty Pounds and relative coupons in a form in conformity with .the prol visions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, ! 1926, 6. That a sinking fund of Three Pounds (£3) per centum per annum be ! established in respect of the loan. 7. That the Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the .repayment of the laid loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon the special differential rates on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Buckley Drainage District as follows: — On lands classified "A" a special rate of § of a penny in the pound sterling. •' On lands classified "B'>*p*. specgil* rate of & of a penny in tjheipouna sterling. 8. That the principal and monoys shall be payable at any braawf of the Bank of New Zealand in New; Zealand. 9. That no portion of interest or sinking fund, or the cost of raising the loan shall be paid out of loan, money, and it is the intention of the BoaTd to confirm such resolution at a special meeting of the Board to be lield at Lhc office of the Board, Shannon, at 1.0.30 in the forenoon on the 26th day of Oetober, 1928. • Shannon, 24th September, 1928.
