CHICAGO'S PROHIBITED WORD
It is no longer permissible to exhibit at Chicago any announcement bearing the word "Brew." The-administrator of the city, Mr. E. C. Ycllowlcy, has ruled that the word is a violation of America's prohibition statutes. Owners or restaurants, cafes, etc., in the city have been ordered by a squad of prohibition agents utrder the direction of the Administrator to remove all signs containing the offend in;.', word.' The "dry squad" toured the entire city and issued a warning that anv further display of the offensive signs would result in criminal prosecutions.
