THOSE OF EARTH AND MARS MAY RETURN. LONDON Sept. 28. . The possibility millions of years hence that the moon may collide with the earth destroying all life was visualised by "Sir Oliver Lodge in an address on the history of the moon. Hi* explained that forces were working on the moon causing it to return to theearth of * which 'it was once a part. Similar forces were working on the moon of the planet Mars which in a few thousand years may come crashing down on the "surface of Mars. That will be a fine sight for those who are a.live on earth, but it will end any of the inhabitants of Mars.
