WHEN MARKING LINEN
The marking of linen is much simplified if : metal stencils are used, while the results are also naturally more uniform than when marking in the ordinary way. Such stencils can be cut at comparatively little cost, and especially where a large amount •of linen has to be marked prove invaluable time savers. When using a stencil or jriarking by hand, the linen should be stretched as tightly as possible. If no special linen stretcher is available, four drawing pins are satisfactory for keeping it firm and taut. ’ <
