LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS. Reporting on the weekly stock sale held at Levin yesterday, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., state that theie was a small yarding of sheep, but a good entry of cattle and pigs. A line of nice-conditioned two and three-year Shorthorn steers were keenly sought after, and realised £7 14s. They quote as follows: — Sheep.—-B.F. hoggets 265, ewes in lamb 30s 6d.
Gattle. —Fat and forward cows,' £5 10s, £5 12s, £6, £6 ss, to £6 17s 6d; store cows, £3 ss, £3 10s; two-year Jersey steers, £4 6s; two and threevear Shorthorn steers, £7 14s; Jersey bulls, £6 os to £lO. 'Pigs.—Slips, 15s. 6d, 17s 6d to 21s; stores, 22s to 25s 6d; light porkers, 28s 6d, 31s, £2 ss, to £2 Ids; sows in pig, £5 4s, £5 6s, £6 12s 6d, £7 12s 6d.
