MYSTERY LETTER IN ’PLANE.

Following the detention by Air Ministry officials at Croydon of the ’plane from which Captain Lowenstein/ the Belgian millionaire, disappeared during a flight from London to Brussels, there is yet another lowenstein mystery. Two sheets of paper were found on the floor of the Fokker ’plane, containing, apparently, a draft of part of a curious business letter, including the words, “Could you arrange a loan of ten million, with, say, 100 per cent, margin, secured against first-class public utility securities. What terms?” The paper contained the date, June 30, and several foreign characters, but the sign prefacing “ten millions” is undecipherable. ' The “Daily Mail” has submitted the document to Lowenstein’s friends, who declare that the writing is not Mb.
