BUSH y. HOROWHENUA AT LEVIN
ON WEDNESDAY. The Ilorowhenua Rugby team to defend the Bebbiiigtbn Shield against the , Bush challenge, at Levin on Wednesday, will be selected after to-night's practice. The manner in which the Wanganui team ran all over the men from the other side of • the. Range on Saturday, suggests that the, safety of the shield is assured. However, football is full of surprises, particularly this season, and tis the Wanganui victory was evidently due to great combination, the teams that arc to meet here may be more evenly matched. In the aggregate of past matches between Ilorowhenua and Bush for the Shield the honours are equal, each side having had two wins, while one game was drawn. The match, which is to take, place on the Park Domain, will commence at 2.45 p.m.' The charges for admission are: Ground, gentlemen 1/6, ladies I/-; stand, ladies and gentlemen 1/-.
