THE FIRST WOMAN PREACHER
Now that women preachers are making their appearance it is interesting to remember that the first woman to preach in an Anglican pulpit was Miss Edith Picton-Turbervill, the scene of her sermon being the Magdalen Chapel, in Dublin.
