All Lau|annc was laughing recently over the. misadventure of a lovesickyoung student of 19, who, in order to keep a closer watch on his fiancee, dressed himself in women's clothes. One night he was standing under her window when he was pounced upon by police detectives. , They had for a long time been on the watch for a man masquerading in female attire, who had terrorised the neighbourhood. The misguided Eomeo slept for three nights on a hard plank in a prison cell before he was able to convince the police that he was not the man they were looking*for. '
