LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
MESSRS ABRAHAM & WILLIAMS, LTD. Owing to the unfavourable weather, yardings were light at the Levin weekly stock sale yesterday. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that fair prices were realised. The cattle that came forward were principally dairy st'ock. They quote as under:Pigs.—Weaner 10's to. 15s, stores &0s; light baconers £3 12s 6d. Sheep.—Fat lambs 29s sd, heavy ewes in lamb to Southdowns 26s 9d. Cattle.—Late calvers £5 to £6 15s, springing heifer £8 10s, empty cews £3, £3 12s 6d to £4 los.
