BUSH BID FOR BEBBINGTON SHIELD.
THREE CHALLENGES IN NOW. Another challenge for the Bebbington Shield, making three in all, has been received by the Ilorowhenua Rugby officials. This is from the Bush Union, the others having been from Rangitikei and Dannevirkp. The match with Rangitikei has been fixed for Saturday, July 7th, at Foxton; but the Dannevirke and Bush challenges have only come-in since the last meeting of the management committee, and arrangements in connection with them will be made at a spec/al meeting to be held to-morrow evening. There is still another body eligible to challenge for the trophy—namely, the Oroua Sub-union,
