LEVIN ABATTOIR AREA.
COUNTY COUNCIL AGREES TO INCLUSION OF WIROKINO RIDING.
Letters from the Levin and Oluyu branches of the Farmers’ Union, cov r oring their resolutions in favour of the inclusion of the Wirokino riding in the proposed Levin Borough Abattoir area, were before the ©ounty Council on Saturday. /The chairman said it was now a matter for the Council to consider whether the riding should be embraced in the abattoir area. Apparently it was the wish of the ratepayers in the riding there was no reason why the Council that this should be brought about, and should not give effect to their request. , On the motion of Cr. Kilsby, seconded by Cr. McLeavey, it was decided that the Council agree to the Wirokino riding being included in the Levin Borough Abattoir area.
