CROQUET.
The members of the Ladies’ Croquet Club brought their season to a close on Saturday afternoon, when a hurryscurry competition was held. An en r joyable time was spent by players, Mesdam.es A. Mason and F. King playing off for the trophy, which was won by the former. • At the conclusion of the days’ play the Mayoress (Mrs E. Butt) presented the following prizes won during the season. —Break competition, Mrs C. C. Franks; break competition, first year players, Mrs F. King; singles, first year players, Mrs F. King; hurry iscurry competition, Mrs A. Mason.
